The first photo is a fresco on the facade of Santa Maria Novella, and it looks like either the devil or a guy in a funny hat holding a plate of pancakes. Definitely made us giggle.
The second was taken just across the square from Santa Maria Novella. Maybe I should go to school there instead, then I could make my own delicious gelato for the rest of my life.
